With his team’s second season coming to a close soon, Palatka Junior-Senior High bowling coach Kelly Lake can’t but help begin thinking about next year and the future of the program.

After giving up 281 yards on the ground last week in a 48-30 win over Keystone Heights, Palatka Junior-Senior High’s front seven faces an even tougher challenge this week.
Mike Norvell channeled Bobby Bowden after this week’s loss to Clemson. The Florida State head coach commented that “there’s no such thing as a moral victory or any of that crap.”
If Wednesday’s performance against state-ranked Flagler Palm Coast was any indication of what to expect next Tuesday at the District 3 bowling meet, the other 11 teams are in for a tough challenge.
